Process Waste Lift Station with Skid
In 2023 and 2024, Kent Stainless manufactured a bespoke two-tank process waste system that included a 6,000-litre (1,585 US gal) single-contained tank and a 70,000-litre (18,500 US gal) Potent Waste Storage Tank, each with matching skid systems and full electrical and automation packages. The smaller tank, equipped with a walk-on lid and access platform, was used in an early process stage and featured a working volume of 4,000 litres, a design pressure of 0.5 bar, and dimensions tailored to client specifications. The larger Potent Waste Storage Tank, top-loaded and fed by a 6,000-litre lift station, was installed in an open concrete pit and included level instruments, spray balls, and various flanged connections. Its skid system, designed from a client-supplied P&ID using SolidWorks, incorporated centrifugal pumps, filter housings, pH and flow monitoring, and was pre-wired for automation. Extensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) was carried out on all components, reducing on-site installation risks and time.
