Sand Filtration Tank

These Sand Filtration Tanks were manufactured in 2022 for a Water Treatment Plant.
The treatment system called for an array of 4 tanks, each 2600mm (102in) square with a 4150mm (163in) overall height.
These were joined together and accompanied by a surrounding platform and staircase system.
Each identical tank contained a manway both above and below the sand filter screen. The screen itself is laser cut 15mm plate and a water channel with a DN300 SCH10 at an 852mm (33.5in) invert level give us a working volume of 20,460l (5,400 US Gallon). The overall tank has a 22,350 litre (5,904 US Gallon) capacity.
Empty weight of each tank was 3,650kg (8,046lb) un led and 24,110kg (53,153lb) filled.
The circular manways weigh 27kg (59.5lb) and the lifting arm davit aids in their removal
